NOVEMBER/DECEMBER 2004

Mike gets back to the finals at the biggest futurity of the year, the NRHA Open futurity in Oklahoma City on Hot Smokin Chex. He then takes 3rd in the finals for a paycheck of over $65 000!!, Mike and Smoky together have earnings of +/- $100 000 in 2004.

OCTOBER 2004

Mike takes two victories at  the Congress in Columbus ,Ohio, winning fist the Novice Horse open on Little Foxy Knoxie owned by Carolyn Martin and the prestigious futurity open on  HOT SMOKIN CHEX,  owned by Jennifer Kersey. See full story at www.oqha.com/congnews15.htm.

Mike won the Cowboy Central award in the open with Dualin Lena CT

Teresa returns to The Traditon to win again...now the Champion in  the int. non -pro and the Affiliate championship on Hesa Pepper Upper  (2 trophies!!)

Ruffin gave an exciting performance in a run off for the win of the Ltd Non Pro on Hangten Lena

Mike wins the Double Run futurity on Paddies Irish Heart, owned by A. Thornton of Four Oaks, NC

 MAY 2004;CAROLINA CLASSIC IN RALEIGH

MIKE WINS THE OPEN DERBY ( on NICS WIZ) AND IS ALSO RESERVE CHAMPION (on LITTLE FOXY KNOXIE)....

Mike shows great consistency and takes his two Carolina Classic derby finalist to  championship and reserve champion...it  was  a great show for happy  owner Georges Bell on  another win place for the great little mare Nics Wiz.Also we are proud of  "MIKEY" who continues to prove he is a great show horse and had a beautiful pattern for the reserve championship Congratulations and Thanks  Carolyn for your continued trust in our program ,you know we love your horse!

Ruffin and Hangten Lena gave an exciting show and took reserve championship of the ABI derby in a RUN-OFF!

Teresa Ebersberger was 3rd in the Limited Non Pro derby, scoring a 212.5 with her horse Hesa Pepper Upper

Mel Jackson from England showed her mare Mss Boomerchex to a 215.5      in the finales of the non-pro to take top  positions in the non-pro, int. non-pro and lmt. non-pro.

On Friday night at the Classic,Mike and  "DUN IT AT DAWN" also wins the  NRHA OPEN  Lawson bronze Trophy, this stallion's first....

APRIL 2004

SERHA  SPRING SHOW in Williamston

Mike wins the open on Sunday and             proceed to win a Lawson Bronze and obtains the high score of the week-end on the stallion    Dualin Lena CT

We are proud of Sarah and Milano,

the youngest member  representing our team and her horse "Milano"...It was the first show for both of them and did a great job !

                                                                           Also  on Sunday, congratulations also to Bill & loretta Jefferson, owners of FLash A Freckles and Mike , winner of the Bronze Open Novice Horse class , score 72.5.Good luck to Loretta who will start showing her horse this season .

MEL JACKSON CAME ALL THE WAY FROM ENGLAND TO WIN HER FIRST BRONZE ON HER PALOMINO MARE  MSS BOOMERCHEX      ,BY MR BOOMERJAC.  IT WAS MEL'S SECOND SHOW AND SECOND PAYCHECK ON THIS LOVELY MARE BOUGHT HERE LAST FALL  .BOOMERCHEX WAS RAISED AND TRAINED AT OUR FARM.

MIKE(SHOWN HE IS NATAHLIE AS MIKE WAS IN THE ROOM SICK!~) RECEIVED AWARDS FOR BOTH NRHA 03 NOVICE HORSE WORLD CHAMPION ON GREG & CARRIE TAYLOR'S PRETTY ROYAL BH AND ALSO AN AWESOME JACKET FOR BEING #15 IN THE TOP TWENTY PROFESSIONAL RIDERS IN 2003.
